Eye-Opener enters into a strategic partnership with Tomorrowland Ventures
New partnership strengthens our international growth in permanent theming
Lommel, Wednesday 16 September 2026 - Tomorrowland Ventures, the investment arm of WEAREONE.world, is taking a strategic stake in Eye-Opener. Together, we are embarking on a new chapter in which we aim to further expand our expertise in permanent theming internationally.
Eye-Opener was founded in 2020, in the midst of the Covid pandemic, by Siemon Ariens and Lars Van Den Dungen. What started with a clear ambition to turn creative ideas into tangible realities has, in just a few years, grown into a specialised partner for permanent theming in theme parks and the leisure industry.
Today, we manage projects from design and engineering through to production and installation. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to work for clients including Walibi Belgium, Walibi Rhône-Alpes, Phantasialand, Plopsa, Studio 100, Le PAL and Bellewaerde Park.
In 2025, Dock World, the themed area at Walibi Belgium to which we contributed, won the Park World Excellence Award for Best Theming.
Over the past year, we have also worked with Tomorrowland. Together with production company Fisheye, we created, among other things, the façades for the Partnerlane and three retail shops at the festival.
With Tomorrowland Ventures taking a stake in Eye-Opener, this collaboration is now evolving into a structural partnership.
Connecting our expertise with the WEAREONE.world ecosystem
Through our partnership with Tomorrowland Ventures, we are becoming part of the WAOW ecosystem: the network of companies surrounding WEAREONE.world.
Within this ecosystem, we bring our specific expertise in permanent theming: themed environments and experiences designed and built not for a few days, but to last for many years.
For Eye-Opener, this partnership opens the door to larger projects, new international clients and further growth at scale. At the same time, it gives us access to a broader creative and production network, enabling us to further strengthen our own expertise.
For Lars Van Den Dungen, co-founder and Creative Director of Eye-Opener, this represents an important added value of the partnership.
"We start from ideas and stories and translate them into worlds that people can truly experience. Through our partnership with Tomorrowland Ventures, we gain new opportunities to connect this with their experience and network, and to bring ideas to life on a scale that would be more difficult for us to achieve on our own."
– Lars Van Den Dungen, co-founder & Creative Director, Eye-Opener
Importantly, Eye-Opener will retain its own identity and operations. We will continue to offer our services to existing and new external clients and independently expand our client portfolio. The partnership with Tomorrowland Ventures adds another dimension to this and creates new opportunities for both parties.
Coming full circle
For Siemon Ariens, co-founder and CEO of Eye-Opener, the partnership also holds personal significance.
In 2012, Siemon took his first steps in the events industry as a stage manager, working at events including Tomorrowland, Laundry Day and Summerfestival. From there, he progressed to become an artist manager and booker, and later co-founded Platform Artist Agency.
Tomorrowland crossed his path several times along the way: first as a festival he worked for and later as a partner within Platform. Today, those worlds come together once again, but from an entirely different position.
"It feels special to be working with Tomorrowland again today. At eighteen, I discovered in the events industry what I wanted to do: music, organisation and, above all, building things. That journey brought me to Tomorrowland. Years later, we are once again standing together at the beginning of a new chapter: building permanent experiences designed to last for many years."
– Siemon Ariens, co-founder & CEO, Eye-Opener
For us, this partnership is above all the next step in the journey we have been building since 2020: to further grow Eye-Opener as a European player in permanent theming, without losing what defines us today: creativity, technical expertise and the ability to turn ideas into reality, from concept through to final delivery.
